Stallholder Information

A peaceful, safe, and supportive environment for all our visitors and stallholders alike.

Our Philosophy is to be transparent and fair, and we have a set of policies supporting this practice also enabling our Co-ordinators to move forward in managing the Waiheke Ostend Market and developing it further.

Market co-ordinators are responsible for allocating all stalls.  Please speak with one of them before you set up your stall.

Funds raised by the Waiheke Ostend Market are spent on the weekly running of the market with profits put towards both the Waiheke Community Childcare Centre (WCCC) and to help further the future of the Waiheke Ostend Market.

The funds allocated to WCCC are spent at the discretion of the centre management, in the best interests of the children attending the WCCC. Typically, this would include the purchase of toys, equipment, teaching aids and projects aimed at upgrading the service.

WCCC remain indebted to years of contribution from the community of Waiheke that have made it possible to sustain this valuable income for a much-needed service on the Island.

Please read through the Waiheke Ostend Market Handbook carefully and contact on the Market Co-ordinators to get started, be safe and have fun.

Our Market Co-ordinators will guide you through the policies and regulations that market stallholders must comply with.

This includes Auckland City Council Licences, Health and Safety, and what we expect from you.

We look forward to hearing from you.
